- Candidates who have completed their studies for a bachelor's degree in geography, environmental sciences, natural resources, and the environment or related disciplines, with an average grade of at least 87 in one discipline and not less than 76 in the second one, will be admitted to the thesis track.
- Candidates who have completed a bachelor's degree in geography, environmental sciences, natural resources and environment, or related disciplines, with an average grade of at least 80 and not less than 76 in the second discipline, will be admitted to the non-thesis track.
- Applicants who are not graduates of geography, environmental sciences, environmental studies, natural resource management, and environment or related disciplines, will be required to participate in supplementary studies at the school. The student's supplementary study program will be adjusted to the background required for the requested program in consultation between the chairman of the committee and the head of the program.
- A candidate with a bachelor's degree at a recognized higher education institution where the language of instruction is not Hebrew must pass a knowledge test in Hebrew at the level required by the university as a condition for acceptance.
- Candidates who graduated from recognized universities abroad and from universities with affiliates in Israel, which operate with the approval of the Council for Higher Education, will be required to pass the GRE test or supplemental studies successfully.
