Bachelor's degree in geography and environmental studies for holders of professional training in geography and environment

Single-track combined evening studies in three years (201164-23-01)

This track is designed to supplement the geographical and environmental knowledge of those with professional training and allows them to earn an academic certificate. The students in the single-track program must study 120 credits, of which at least 90 credits are in the School of Environmental Sciences, and up to 30 credits from all university courses.

Admission conditions without psychometric exam

  • Presenting certificates attesting to previous professional training (approved by the School head).
  • Complete high school graduation certificate with an average of 75 or higher.
  • Personal interview.
  • A grade in the Hebrew knowledge test (YAEL or YAELNET) intended for candidates whose language of instruction in high school was not Hebrew and who were not tested in the psychometric test in the Hebrew language. The required score in the exam is 120. The University of Haifa allows its candidates to take a screening exam in Hebrew (for more information and to register for the exam, click here). Candidates with a YAEL test score between 90-119 will be admitted conditionally to year 1. These candidates must pass a YAEL test with a score of 120 or higher during year 1, study a Hebrew course at the university preparatory school during year 1, and complete the course.
