The School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Haifa offers undergraduate programs covering a range of topics including physical and human geography, environmental studies, geo-informatics and more.


Students examine environmental topics such as climate change, ecology, natural resource management, wildfires and wildlife management from different disciplines, including climatology, geomorphology, environmental economics, and more. They also learn how to apply analytical tools, including Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing, to understand and help develop practical solutions to such issues.

Graduates receive a B.A. in Geography and Environmental Studies.

Students can enroll in one or more of the following tracts:
• Geo-informatics
• Environment and Climate Studies
• Sustainable Development
